~ Never Ending Roads ~

Realised I love putting my own photos at the beginning of every post, haha!

KL - Ipoh - Penang
Started our journey around 6-ish in the morning.

Could hardly see this kinda scenery back in the city.

Did not really have the chance to catch a wink on the night before so all of us are still in a blur state. Soon, I could not stand anymore and slept on his bony lap.

Meanwhile, Mr.Mushiie is cam-whoring in the car.

And doing funny faces all the way.

Time seemed to pass so fast while I was sleeping. When I woke up, I saw that 4 lettters up there already, saw that? IPOH here we come!

All cars bought in Ipoh has a car plate starts from the letter "A".

Had breakfast at this super crowded shop selling "dim sum" named Foh San. Ipoh is really proven to be famous for food and pretty girls, haha! Can you imagine we have to stand by the table and stare at people while they are eating just to make sure nobody else snatch the table after they're done? Can you imagine a girl who is only around 12 years old can be so attractive that even I can't stop looking at her? I'm not exegerating okay, LOL.

When we're about to leave the shop, I spotted this really cute sign. I guess we could hardly find this sign around Malaysia anymore.

The two mushrooming mushrooms.

When clouds meet mountains. Continued our journey and saw more of this kinda scenery. Seriously they do have a calming and relaxing effect plus it's green in colour.

Finally, he slept. For real?

Sleeping yet smiling.

After more than an hour from Ipoh, we saw this. This is the way to the well-known Penang Bridge. I wonder why we don't have a single picture of the bridge except pictures of the sea, LOL.

This is the Penang town. Look at the dark clouds. It was raining cats and dogs every single second while we're in Penang. It's so not cool.

Went to the hotel to check in once we reached. It's Hydro Majestic Hotel by the way. One thing I'm not so satisfied about Penang is the traffic, and unfortunately, we chose the wrong time to travel as well. It's public holiday on Friday, obviously the entire Malaysia is gonna be full of cars. We have to take more than an hour to reach to a destination just for lunch. The roads in Penang is kinda small yet so many cars. And they love making emergency brakes. So many nice and expensive cars there, but could not make use of their advantages, what a waste, haha!

A slight view of the sea from our hotel room.

And the apartments next to our hotel during the day.

Rested for short while in the hotel till evening.

Then we got ourselves prepared for dinner and a short walk at Gurney Plaza.
As you can see, I'm trying to make my lips sweet like sugar.

It was raining heavily when we went out. Did not get to go to many places we wanted to.
What a disappointment. The guys decided to get some beer and make their own poker casino back in their hotel room.

I was not playing though, I was cam-whoring around and watching tv hugging my chocolates tightly with me.

Obviously, this is not sweet lips, it's sausage lips.

When I hug chocolates and not him, he hugged Pringles instead.

He's just acting innocent when he's totally not. Dumb Dumb dumbo, haha!

The night scenery of the apartments looking out from the balcony.

That's the end of our only night in Penang. Woke up early morning for the free breakfast in the hotel's cafe and it's yummy. Soon after the breakfast, we got back to our room and started packing while we rested a little before we gonna start our journey again. It's a super long journey, believe me.

He insisted of taking this photo before we checked out from the hotel.

Had the most famous asam laksa as our lunch and back to Gurney Plaza to meet up with Mr.Calvin. The rest was just nonsense, really. Doing exactly the same stuff they did everyday in Subang but in Penang this time round, LOL.

The journey back home doubled the time we would only need to arrive thanks to the public holiday on Friday. From what I heard on the radio, almost every highways in Malaysia is having serious jam. Started journey at 5pm and reached home at 1am. I felt as if I'm paralysed when we reached. We stopped by Ipoh halfway for dinner anyway, and we had the once again so-called famous chicken 'hor fun'.

The trip was okay. Maybe because of the limited time we had and the weather being so 'kind' to us plus everything got worse with car jam happening everywhere frustrating us. I'm sure its gonna be more fun if only I have the chance to go for another Penang trip again.

It's okay though, there's more trip being queued for the following months. And I'm looking forward.

♥♥♥
